[edit] Curse Updating in WUU 1.9
Due to heavy changes at Curse - detailed here: blocking WoWmatrix - WUU can't update directly/automatically from the site as of 2009-04-14.
In the new WUU 1.9, there are some changes to facilitate a semi-automatic update process for Curse addons.
[edit] Step 0: Select your browser download folder
When you first start WUU 1.9, you'll be asked where your browser downloads files (if you have a default directory); this is just for the file selector to have a nice default to simplify the process right now, but later it might be used for an even more automatic process.
[edit] Step 1: Download the addon
Curse addons in WUU now have some new options in the right-click menu:
Select Open download page.
This will put you directly on the download page for the latest version:
Click "Manual Install" and put the file in the folder selected in step 0
[edit] Step 2: Install the addon
Right click the addon again, and select Update from file:
(hotkey for this: Ctrl-F - also works when multiple are selected)
And select the file you downloaded in step 1:
WUU will also try guessing which file you want, and present the following dialog if anything is found:
(pressing No here will of course bring up the file selector above)

After versions have been scanned (either with F10 or Ctrl-V) you can open tabs in your browser for all Curse addons that need update by pressing F9.
This will also ask you if you want to select the downloaded files for each addon in sequence.
